  1. So essentially what you’re saying is if I buy a program now, I don’t have to transfer iLoks between my 2 computers? But the 5 programs I’ve spent a ton of cash on in the last few years, as a loyal customer, I’m unable to do this? Nice work.

With the new system, you can now transfer your License between your devices by using the iLok License Manager.
Thus, you can’t authorize your License in 2 computers at the same time; but you can transfer the License from one computer to another one at will.

To move your License from one computer to another :

      1. Launch iLok License Manager and sign in
      2. Locate your license
      3. Right-click on it and select “Deactivate” – the license will appear in the “Available” tab

4. Launch iLok License Manager on the other computer and sign in
      5. Go to “Available” tab
      6. Drag and drop the pending license to your computer

If you have any other question, please contact our technical support : http://www.uvi.net/en/contact-support.
      Hope this help.

Unless your license is a Mello or a Sparkverb, the licenses registered before January 10 are not eligible to the computer-based authorization feature. If you need any additional information, please contact our Technical Support : http://www.uvi.net/contact-support. They will get back to you shortly !

Thank you very much for your reply.
I see. I overlooked that ‘New licensing system available to all new UVI licenses purchased from today, January 10. It would be really great if you (or iLok people) can make old licenses eligible to the computer-based authorization feature too, in the future.

I have an error with Mello as well. I will contact the support regarding the problem.

    Many thanks,
